No Jack Frost this year...

With Jack Frost nipping at your nose this winter maybe what you need is a good 'ole' cup of hot chocolate. Well me no chocolate this year no sir, I won't let the cold get me all down and blanketed up.
I am going for a ride where it is warm and sunny where the wind blows and you don't have to hide your face.

Yearning to listen to the birds chirping, the river waters trickling while cool beats thump in the back ground.
I can't wait to feel the sun's rays streaming down on my face not even a warm shower could replace.
I want to ride up through the trails pass civilization and take a peak from mountains at the wonders of nature. Forget about the snow the wind chill and the cold, forget about the train and the metro and the traffic this winter..I am going to my new found home chukka..chooo chooo

River tubing....through Jamaican untouched forests

Drifting down the natural clear river waters your tube meanders through the untouched, unspoilt Jamaican forest. So far from the turmoil of city life your mind slips easily into a calm serenity that only nature can provide. As the birds chirp and whistle in the distance you listen to the trickle of countless streams as they dump their tiny loads into your commanding water way.
You see tiny animals scurrying through the thick natural vegetation curiously staring at you the visitor in their world. They dart for cover after satisfying that curiosity leaving you wondering if you actually saw anything.

As you lay your head back and look into the blue Caribbean sky you notice the clean clear visibility that very few places left on earth can compare. A long deep breathe confirms what you have been thinking all along..."this is nature at it's undefined, undisturbed best".

The water way now decides you need to feel it's force and your calm ride slowly turns into an exhilarating rush with rapids that drive your tube quickly down stream. You grip and hold unto your tube handles realizing that only nature can be this commanding. You marvel at the raw power and blood pounding rush that you feel.

If only you could do this every day then those emails, fax and phone calls wouldn't be that great a deal. Chukka Caribbean Adventure River Tubing Adventure tour available in Montego Bay and Ocho Rios.

Ninety degrees buys you a lot in the Caribbean..... rough terrain, mountain tracks, hard gripping surfaces and not to mention the lush green forest. Now imagine a brand new Dune Buggy, hairpin turns, loose gravel and a well trained tour guide...Yes you got it VACATION FUN baby.

Watch an actual guest ride the tour !!!!!

Chukka Caribbean Adventures gives it to you at multiple locations in Montego Bay , Ocho Rios Jamaica and also in Grand Turk. The climate is just beyond comparison, how could it get any better.
The Jamaican locations take you up into the hills and through communities that still hold firm to old an cultural existence. It takes you through forested areas with trees and vegetation that are found only in Jamaica. You will never regret this experience after all it ends at hub location where a cold Jamaican Beer awaits.

The Grand Turks Dunne Bugy ride is even more exhilarating and beautiful , it takes you along the shore up through the hill sides where you can see the entire coast line. The view of the small islands is just breath taking from this ride.

White Witch encounter

The mystery of the white witch of Rosehall (Jamaica) is infamous through out Jamaica but how many people actually believe the old tales.

Well I did the chukka ziplines on the witch's old property the other day and wow. Before I even talk about my episode with the paranormal I must say that the site is amazingly beautiful. You are able to see the tops of 100ft trees, miles out into the Caribbean sea just breath taking.
Now my episode with the witch herself :
At the start of the tour the guides tell you of all the crazy tales of the witch with killing her husbands and affairs with slaves and how she haunts the property to date. Of course being a logical thinking i snickered at the idea of ghosts and hauntings. Well during the tour we took lots of pictures of the property and of us sliding along these really amazing ziplines. We heard of people who did the same and in their digital photos they saw unexplained images embedded in the photos. Unbelievable in a few of our photos we saw the distinct outline of a woman's face. We thought it was just our camera but another couple had the same images showing up in their photos. ...All in all it was quite eerie to say the least.
